This starter solar kit has everything you need to power a few appliances at the cottage, cabin, boat, trailer or RV. This kit is ideal for those weekend getaways. The solar panel can recharge the battery during the weekdays and be ready to go each and every weekend.

The Enerwatt 30 watt solar panel can provide over 12 A/h's (amp hours) of charging current per day during the summer. The SunSaver 6 amp charge controller will automatically regulate the charge going into the battery. Another solar panel can be added now or later to increase output to over 24 A/h's /day. You can also upgrade to a higher amp charge controller or an MPPT charge controller.

The Enerwatt AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) battery is sealed, maintenance free and non spillable. It can provide over 720 W/h's (watt hours) of power for most small appliance loads. For example: you can power three 15 watt bulbs for 10 hours or a small 90 watt TV for 6 hours to a maximum 80% battery Depth of Discharge (DOD).

The inverter can handle a continuous and total appliance load of 300 watts with a 900 watt peak surge rating. Simply make certain all your loads do not exceed the 300 watt rating of the inverter or upgrade to a higher wattage inverter. The optional Xantrex PROwatt True Sine Wave inverter can provide up to 600 watts of clean AC power for high end electronic devices such as computers, LCD or Plasma TV's & more.
