Shipping & Delivery
- We attempt to ship your order as soon as we receive it. Depending on the product availability, please allow anywhere from 2 - 8 weeks for delivery.
We offer the following shipping methods:
For small packages under 5 lbs:
Canada Post Xpress Post (4-6 business days within Canada, 6-12 business days continental USA)
For packages over 5 lbs:
KW Messenger (1-2 business days); Ontario postal codes beginning with L, M & N only.
OR
Canada Post Xpress Post (6-12 business days regular service Canada or continental USA)
Also available:
Standard Purolator Courier Overnight (additional cost to regular shipping cost. Please Contact Us for a quote).
Shipping costs are based on package quantity, size and weight.
FREE SHIPPING (batteries excluded) on system packages over $1500 (before taxes) and delivered within Ontario. Certain products such as Solar Panels will carry a nominal handling and/or insurance charge. Please Call or Contact Us for shipping costs outside Ontario or internationally.
- Shipping Wet, Flooded Lead Acid Batteries
For safety reasons as designated by the Ministry of Transportation, all wet, flooded lead acid batteries are classified as Hazardous Goods and will not be shipped via standard air or ground parcel delivery service such as Canada Post Xpresspost, Purolator, Fedex, UPS (sealed lead acid, AGM and Gel batteries excepted).
We do have a limited designated area of Ontario where we can deliver small quantities (1 - 4 pcs.) of these types of flooded or sealed batteries. To qualify you must live in an area of Ontario where your postal code begins with L, M or N only.
For larger quantities and for all other areas of Ontario and nationally or internationally we can ship by common LTL (Less Than Load) freight carrier. In some cases, direct or drop shipment from the manufacturer may be available. Please Contact Us for a freight quote on these battery types. A separate dangerous goods handling fee will apply for preparation of proper shipping documentation and surcharges.- Warranties and Returns
- We aim for complete customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we want to hear about it. Let us know if something is wrong and we will do what we can to make it right.
Any product found to be defective will be replaced as written within the manufacturers warranty terms. We have a franchise wide warranty program for our Enerwatt and Trans Canada products. Please Contact Us to inquire about these and other product manufacturers and their warranties. - Non Defective Returns
- Sorry, no cash or credit refunds on non defective item returns. These items are accepted as exchange only if returned within 30 days from date of purchase, with original receipt and in unused condition or unopened packaging. Product must be received by us in undamaged and good workable condition before exchange can be given. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the original purchaser. Shipping costs for items delivered in exchange will also apply. All shipping costs and deposits are non refundable.
- Ordering
- When you're ready to order, please use our secure payment service. We handle instantaneous order processing with Visa, Mastercard, or Paypal. If you do not wish to use one of these methods, you may also opt to pay by cheque.
- Cheque based orders are processed only once we have received your payment and the cheque has cleared. Please allow 2-3 weeks longer for handling cheque based payments.
- If you don't wish to use one of our supported payment options but would like to place an order anyway, please call us toll free at: 1-877-747-2288 or Contact Us. We will securely process your order manually.
We strive to provide the best availability of product and the best up to date information on this website. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, some items may be discontinued and no longer available for purchase. In such cases we will notify you and try to provide an equivalent or alternate product for your purchase. If an alternate product is unavailable or if you wish not to receive the alternate product, we will immediately refund your purchase amount in full. - Payment, Pricing & Promotions
- All pricing shown on this website is in Canadian dollars and does not include applicable sales taxes or shipping costs. These costs will be automatically added to your purchase. We can provide shipping quotes for phone or email orders. Pricing is subject to change without notice. All Ontario orders are subject to 8% PST and 5% GST tax. Other provinces; 5% GST only. No tax for all US or international destinations (Customs charges, duty, taxes and other fees if applicable are the responsibility of the receiver).
- Installation; Looking for a reputable electrician to install your system?
- We can provide you with expert installation. We have experienced and qualified Master Electricians who have many years experience in the Alternative Energy field. We ensure that all of our installers abide by the electrical codes as established by the Electrical Safety Authority: http://www.esainspection.net/. Our installers are also bonded and insured. We will act on your behalf in acquiring the necessary permits, inspections and approvals and see through the whole process to completion. Please call or Contact Us for a complete system and installation quote.
- What about support after the sale?
- We don't stop there! We are here for our customers. We endeavour to make sure your system will be running safely and trouble free for years to come. We take pride in all of the products and services we sell. We know your making a big investment and we want to make sure you're just as happy with your purchase as we are in providing it to you. In fact, we encourage our customers to call us for technical support or to just let us know how their system is running.
- Viewing Orders
- Once your order has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with the full details of your order. You may also view your orders on our online store at any time by signing in to your user account and viewing the "My Orders" area.
- If you place similar orders on a regular basis, you may use an existing order to re-order more of the same product.
- Updating Account Information
- In the event that your shipping address changes before your order is received, please update your address information accordingly. To do this, sign in to your user account and modify the suitable entry in your address book.
- If you have signed up for our newsletter and your email address changes, please update your email address accordingly to ensure the you continue to receive your newsletter.
